Using drumming, rhythm and shared creative experiences to support KS3 boys' wellbeing and potential in UK secondary schools.
Drum Role was created as a response to the challenges raised in The Lost Boys Report which highlights how boys are becoming increasingly disconnected from their feelings, their peers and a sense of belonging, with too little space in schools for physical release, creativity and meaningful connection.
We use drumming, rhythm and shared creative experiences to help boys build confidence, connection, communication and emotional expression. This isn't a music lesson. No drumming experience needed. Just the willingness to show up and take part.

Being able to play loud and channel energy feels powerful and important.
Clear boundaries help the boys feel confident, focused and free to express.
